Play-Doh by Number set tailored for young adults, merging the fun of modeling clay with structured, creative challenges. The set will feature numbered instructions guiding users through the creation of intricate designs, sculptures, or characters, offering a relaxing and therapeutic way to explore creativity while engaging in focused, hands-on play. The aim is to provide an engaging experience that balances creativity, relaxation, and mindfulness for an older audience.

Purdue-sponsored design project to rethink and redesign Hasbro’s Play-Doh to make displayable works of art. Design an innovative Play-Doh kit that enables users to create, preserve, and display their Play-Doh creations as art pieces. The product should appeal to a specific user group based on research, encouraging creativity while providing a means to exhibit their artwork proudly.

Ideation
Following our group research, we transitioned to individual ideation, exploring various creative directions. From a diverse pool of ideas, I narrowed it down to four key concepts, which I presented to Hasbro’s team. Ultimately, one idea was selected to move forward with.
